Michael Lee Calkins, 67 years old, was called to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior on February 12, 2018. He was born June 9, 1950, in Oshkosh, WI to Bernard and Lois (Creapo) Calkins. Mike worked side by side with his parents and siblings for Calkins Midways. Later in life he bought Calkins Midways with some of his siblings from 1986 to 1996. Mike was person of all traits; he sold cars, did taxes, was the manager of the Auditorium in Eldorado, AR, was an insurance rep for AAL, and was an independent financial advisor until he retired. Mike's passions were fishing, gaming, and golfing with family and friends. He loved to give people nick names.
Mike is survived by: his wife, Sharon; and their two children, Jacob (Rhonda) Calkins, Sarah Calkins; his first wife, Donna Calkins; and their two daughters, Tracy (Calkins) Hall, Amy Calkins. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Craig Hall, Michael Hall, Danielle Hall, and Nicholas Calkins; a brother, John (Diane) Calkins; two sisters, Linda (Ray) Malewski, Cheryl (John) Streeter; sister-in-law, Lynn Waterman; and many nephews and nieces he loved very much.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Waterman; a son-in-law, Christopher Hall; and an infant daughter.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Living Water Lutheran Church 1585 S. Oakwood Rd. Oshkosh. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the church with Pastor John Dorn officiating. Cremation will follow.

I am so sorry to hear. I remember Michael when I was with my aunt and uncle-Doris and Pete Peterson who owned Dairy State Rides-and he was there with Grandpa and Grandma-I think he was the same one.
