Randolph "Randy" D. McMullin

Randolph "Randy" D. McMullin, age 73, of Winneconne, was received by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 24, 2009. He was born February 10, 1936 in Melvina, Wisconsin to the late Doyle and Mildred (Johnson) McMullin. Randy has rejoined his beloved wife, Marlene, who preceded him to heaven on April 17, 2008. They were married on February 11, 1956 and started their life together while Randy was serving in the U.S. Army, returning to Oshkosh where Randy was trained as a tool and die maker. Most of his working years were spent at Triangle Manufacturing in Oshkosh.

Randy was a devoted husband who worked with Marlene to support many mission projects. They were mentors and spiritual parents to many who came to their Omro home for Bible studies and prayer meetings. Together they were an integral part of Winneconne Christian Fellowship.

Randy was a devoted father to three boys, who learned to repair go-carts, motorcycles, and cars, as well as carpentry work. He spent a lot of time playing hockey and basketball with the boys, showing them how to be a Dad. He played hockey in an over 30 league until he was 42 years old. He loved music from the 40's and 50's and was a self taught drummer. Randy also spent a lot of time with his step-brother, Ronnie. They went through school together, motorcycled together, but mostly fished together.

Those separated for a time include three sons, Cal (Sandy) McMullin, of Ohio; Craig (Sharon) McMullin, and Corey (Karen) McMullin, of Omro; a sister, Diane (Dick) Brown, of Waupun; and grandchildren, Travis, Derrick (Kristen), and Nate McMullin, of Ohio; Brandon, Emmie, and Lindsey McMullin, of Omro; and Jake and Kyle McMullin, of Omro.
