Richard "Dick" Harrison Baer
Allenville, Wisconsin
Richard "Dick" Harrison Baer, age 91, of Allenville, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, went to his eternal reward on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
He was born on May 13, 1919, in the Town of Neenah, to the late Albert and Ida (Faber) Baer. Dick attended the Dixie School. He helped his parents farm in the Town of Neenah, and in 1962 Dick and his brother Chester purchased a farm in Allenville where they farmed until their retirement in 1990. Along with his parents, Dick was also preceded in death by five brothers, Alvin, Orrin, Cliff, Walter, and Chester; and three sisters, Grace, Eva and Viola.
A Funeral Service for Dick will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, with Pastor David Eisley officiating. Burial will be in the Brooks Cemetery in the Town of Vinland. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Dick's family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Anne Krause, Ashley, and the rest of the staff of Alten Haus, and to Tracy from Heartland Hospice, for their kind and loving care.
