Gloryana "Hannah" (Lenz) Niermann

Gloryana "Hannah" (Lenz) Niermann, 85, of Neenah, went home to Our Lord on Wednesday May 18, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, in the presence of her loving family. Gloryana, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born July 22, 1925, to Arthur and Lavella Lenz of Winchester, one of five daughters born to the couple.
Gloryana was raised with her sisters in Winchester where her father was a cheese maker and her mother operated a dance hall. At 17, she married Vincent J. DeCleene and had two children, Victoria Lou and Arthur William DeCleene. In July 1970, she married John Niermann and they lived in Neenah. Gloryana worked at R Sabee Company for 37 years.
Gloryana will be deeply missed by her husband, John; brother-in-law, Don (Louise) Niermann, of Dallas, TX; daughter, Victoria Tyriver, of Neenah; daughter-in-law, Maria (Rob) DeCleene-Vlach, of Appleton; eight grandchildren, John Tyriver, of Orlando, FL; Andrew (Denise) Tyriver, of Huntsville, AL; Elisabeth (Chris) Jackson, of Neenah; Katherine Tyriver, of Orlando, FL; Erin (Pat) Choudoir, of Appleton; Anthony (Shelly) DeCleene, of Appleton; Gavin DeCleene, of Appleton; Garrett DeCleene, of Appleton; thirteen great-grandchildren, Sarah, Victoria, Gloryana, and Zane Tyriver, of Orlando, FL; Megan and Jacob Tyriver, of Huntsville, AL; Vincent, Edwin, and Jackson Pinkley, Christopher Jackson, all of Neenah; Hadley Choudoir, of Appleton; Hannah and Blake DeCleene, of Appleton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Gloryana was preceded in death by her son, Arthur William DeCleene; husband, Vincent John DeCleene; father Arthur Lenz; mother Lavella Lenz Schwerin; step-father Roy Schwerin; four sisters Elaine (Everett) Davis, Luella (Leroy) Hallock, Bernice (Jim) Palmer, and Ardys (Arnold) Werth.
Gloryana enjoyed her dogs, working in the yard, living life, and spending time with her husband and family. She was the epitome of honor, class, and grace. She left an exceptional legacy for her family with her unwavering and unending love and support.
A Funeral Service for Gloryana will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 1390 Breezewood Lane, Neenah, with Pastor Richard Frost officiating. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

I will miss you, Aunt Hannah, very much. The last of the "sparkling" Lenz girls. No body had more fun than my Mother and her Sisters. I will never forget the memories. You will be with me forever in my heart.
