Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Patrick K. Walters
Winneconne, Wisconsin
Patrick K. Walters, age 59, of Winneconne, died Saturday, August 27, 2011, at home, after fighting an 8 month battle with cancer. He also had worked part-time at the Vinland Still and Grill, as well as helping out his lifelong friend, Stevie Lawler, at Red's Pizza in Oshkosh. Pat had a love of cooking whether it was where he worked or cooking for family and friends. He was awarded the 2008 Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. Pat enjoyed spending time with his family, shuffleboard, playing pool, fishing, the Packers and Brewers, and his favorite hobby playing video poker machines.

Pat was a super guy. Always nice to talk to and truly a fun person. I met him through my father years ago when they hung out together. He made the greatest pizzas and subs at the Pizza Corner. I swear I ate there every day. Roxanne, you have my sympathy. Take care, Lori

Dear Walters Family,
We are so sorry to learn of Pat's passing. We just found out tonight (Mon 8/29). We felt so bad we didn't know in time to attend the service today. Pat was a dear man, always so friendly, always checking to see if our food was good. It is, what it is, but we will truly miss him, and his genuine person. May he be peace now. You are all in our prayers. Roger & Kathie Kerkhoff

I'm sorry, but i need to deal with this stuff in my own way. If you kids don't understand,I'm sorry about that too! I find no comfort at all in any services of any kind. It only makes me feel worse that there is not one thing I can do to change anything! I would give all I own to bring stuff back the way it was. Just remember,it is was it is! I live that everyday. I love you all.
