Lorraine Marie Tritt, 86, of the town of Vinland, passed away on December 11, 2019, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh following a brief illness. She was born on June 11, 1933, to the late Lester and Catherine Brennand. Lorraine married Berniel L. Tritt at St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne, WI on December 1, 1951. They recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. Over the years Lorraine and Berniel lived in Allenville, WI, Washington state, Neenah, WI and for the past 51 have made their home in the town of Vinland. Lorraine worked for many years at the Wisconsin Association of School Boards in Winneconne.

Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, Berniel; two sons, Scott Tritt and his fiancée Linda Schneider; and Lee Tritt and his significant other Debra J. Goral; a grandson, Evan Tritt; a step-granddaughter, Amanda Sytek; two step-great-grandchildren, Bradley Tritt and Zach Sytek; and two special little loved ones, Kamorah Griffith and Donaven Goral. She is further survived by two brothers, Lester Brennand and David Brennand; two sisters, Catherine DeWitt and Gwen (James) Bartels; a brother-in-law, Delroy (Joyce) Tritt; four sisters-in-law, Elaine Collins, June Smith, Janet Ticks, and Beverly (Edward) Rehfeldt; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lorraine was also preceded in death by five brothers-in law, Vern DeWitt, Gerald Tritt, Sheridan Tritt, John Hinz, and Lloyd Collins; four sisters-in law, Irene Brennand, Carol Brennand, Cora Tritt, and Carol Hinz; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, December 16, 2019, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 900 Geiger St. Neenah. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the church with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Oshkosh.  

The family wishes to express its gratitude to Dr. Weber, Dr. Ringwala, and the staff at Mercy Medical Center for the care and comfort provided her in her final days. The family also wishes to thank all those who offered prayers for her in her final days.
