Wallace "Wally" B. Blochwitz

Wallace "Wally" B. Blochwitz, age 76, of Neenah, formerly of Winneconne, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. He was born June 1, 1935, in Columbus, Wisconsin, to the late Walter and Hazel (Thomas) Blochwitz. Wally served his country in the U.S. Army. On August 18, 1956, he married Marlena McHugh. Wally was an avid Packer fan to the very end.
Wally is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marlena Blochwitz; three daughters, Terri Blochwitz (fiancé, Randy Drifka), Kristy Blochwitz, and Wendy Blochwitz; two sons, Scott (Krissy) Blochwitz, and Dale Blochwitz; fifteen grandchildren, Eric, Jamie, Tom, Kayla, Emily, Clay, Sammy, David, Amanda, Derek, Malissa, Drew, Paige, Cooper, and Izzie; and two great-grandchildren, Dade and Calli.
Along with his parents, Wally was also preceded in death by one son, Barry Blochwitz; and one grandson, Cole Trittin.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, with Chaplain Allen Krause officiating. A Tribute to a Veteran Service will be held prior to the memorial service. Inurnment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Poygan. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
Wally's family would like to thank the loving and caring staff at Park View Health Center for everything they have done for him during his stay there.
