Bruno Alvin Felberg, 89, of Oshkosh, left this world to be with God on Wednesday October 14, 2020.

After many years of battling heart issues, diabetes and multiple amputations, he lost the fight of his life with COVID 19.

Most of his life was dedicated to being the best farmer he could be. Planting the seed, harvesting the crop, milking the cows or helping deliver a newborn calf was his life’s mission.  He was an active member of Wyldewood Baptist Church and took pride in serving as Head Usher for many years. Later in life, a simple drive in the country or trying a new restaurant was always a special time for him. Keeping life simple was the way he lived his life.

In May of 2020 he was promoted to great-grandpa after welcoming his first great-grandchild, Colt Hopkins, son of Ryan and Laura Hopkins. His goal was to go visit him, but the Lord had other plans.

Bruno was born October 23, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Rudolph and Martha (Stotz) Felberg. He married Joann Kropp on August 24, 1957, and was blessed with three children, three grandchildren and one great-grandson. After 61 years of marriage, Joann was lost to a brief illness in 2019. They are now together again in heaven. Heaven is truly a sweeter place now that they have a permanent change of address.

Bruno is survived by his children, Linda (John) Der, Robert (Judy) Felberg, and Melissa Felberg (Steve Stein); sister, Delpha (Sam) Pfaffenroth; sister-in-law, Shelby (Louis) Bock; and many nieces and nephews. He was the loving grandfather to John Der, Laura (Ryan) Hopkins and Justin Der; great-grandpa to Colt Hopkins.

Bruno was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Felberg; parents, Rudolph and Martha Felberg; sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Frederick Krueger; brother, Bruce Felberg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Lillian Kropp; brother-in-law, Vernon Kropp.

Inurnment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh and A Celebration of Life with ice cream and a lot of sweet treats will be planned for a later date.

Rest in Peace Dad!!
