Where Caring Is A Family Tradition

She then went to work for the Milwaukee Police Department. In her younger years she raised and bred White German Shepherds. Luz Maria’s best times were spent with family, such as Sunday family gatherings with her brothers playing baseball, and in some form or another, helping to raise her grandchildren, including changing her work schedule or even moving to be closer to them.
Luz Maria is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jorge B. Tovar, of Larsen; five children and their families: Jesus and Tina Tovar, of Germantown, and children, Lucinda Varga, Matthew, Angelina, and Antonio Tovar; Maria and Steve Paglianti, of Brookfield, and children, Mariana and Selena Paglianti; Fernando Tovar, of Fond du Lac, and child, Kaylie Tovar; Evelina Tovar-Karoses, of Campbellsport, and child, Andrina (Austin Baye) Shirley; Mariluz (Alan) Kuenzi, of Larsen, and children, Vanessa, Rachel, and Sabrina Kuenzi. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Samantha and Olivia Varga, Zeni Calhoun, Bryce and Alexa Shirley; four brothers, Mario (Sophie) Alba, Andres (Martha) Alba, Jesus (Sandra) Alba, Jose Alba; sister-in-law, Jessie Alba; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, Luz Maria was also preceded in death by a brother, Ildefonso Alba.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, November 9, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at noon at the church with R. Kevin Ripley officiating. Cremation will follow.

To the family: I am very sorry for who you have lost. She was definitely the strongest branch on the family tree. Tio George, I know your heart is in pain and has a huge void that will never be filled like Tia Mary could. Know that one day you will be with her again.
Tia Mary, I am happy for your mind, body, and soul. That they are no longer in pain. You're now free. I know you will be watching over your family. I know you had the greatest love for them all. As adults, people tend to see each other less an less. Here are the things I will always remember you. You had the best smile, you loved to sing and dance. Your favorite color was red. You had a wicked sense of humor. You're family was everything, mess with them and, you were a force to be reckoned with. You had a very loving g heart. I will miss you.
