Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Robert J. Karbon, age 83, of Omro, died of natural causes on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 7, 1937, in Larrabee, Wisconsin to the late Harold and Eleanor (Novachek) Karbon. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army. For many years he worked as a carpenter. Robert loved boats and trains; building his own 36-foot vessel, and he had a room dedicated to his HO model trains. Robert was a good cook who enjoyed spending time with family.
Robert is survived by four daughters and their families: Annette Marie and Eugene Bacon and son Alex; Terri and Clark Turner and children, Christa (Eric) Baker, Josh, Justin (Judith), Jared (Samantha), and Erin (Adam) Haney; Jane Karbon; Melinda and Mike Luker and sons, Robert and Nick Egan, Garritt and Logan Luker; seventeen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Margie) Karbon, Jerry (Jacque) Karbon; a sister, Mary (Neil) Hoeffner; sister-in-law, Betty Karbon; many other relatives and friends; and his beloved cats, Tina and Charlie.
Along with his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Karen (Gunther) Karbon; and a brother, Kenny Karbon.
Per Robert’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no service held. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.
Death leaves a heart ache difficult to heal. Love leaves sweet memories impossible to steal. Love you Dad.
