After a long and courageous battle against Alzheimer’s disease, Marilyn Repp, 79, Omro Wisconsin, was called home by our Lord and Savior on February 22, 2021.

Marilyn's home for the past 2 ½ years had been the Country Villa Assisted Living Facility in Omro. She made many friends there, residents and staff alike. She was always made to feel special. Even as her capacity to express herself diminished, she was able to use her sense of touch to warmly pat a shoulder or a cheek. When asking for a hug, you may have gotten a kiss instead and either one was a delight.

Marilyn was born to George and Sylvia (Degner) Kleba on July 16, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was raised in Marshfield, Wisconsin and graduated from Marshfield High School in 1959. Marilyn worked for the Fox Valley Technical College, in Oshkosh, for several years in an administrative position. Allis Chalmers, of Appleton, Wisconsin was her final professional chapter as she retired in 2002.

Marilyn is survived by her loving, dedicated husband of 39 years, Tom Repp. They were married at Grace Lutheran Church on January 2, 1982. All who were able to attend, remember that day as very cold and snowy outside but full of love on the inside. Marilyn is also survived by her daughter, Terri (Clark) Turner of Withee, Wisconsin, and their children, Christa (Eric) Baker, Joshua Turner, Justin (Judith) Turner, Erin (Adam) Haney, and Jerad (Samantha) Turner  along with 17 beautiful great-grandchildren; daughter, Jane Karbon, of Oshkosh; daughter, Melinda (Michael) Luker, of Eyota, Minnesota, and their children, Robert Egan, Nick Egan, Garritt Luker and Logan Luker; stepdaughter, Katie (Jerry) Markert, of Bowler, Wisconsin, and their son, Jacob; stepson, Kraig Repp, of Blaine, Minnesota, and his children, Karver and Konner Repp. Marilyn was the only girl in a family of five brothers. Her siblings include, Robert (Linda) Kleba, of Belvidere Illinois; Ken (Robin) Kleba, of Hartford, South Dakota; Dale (Jennifer) Kleba, of Hartland, Wisconsin; and David (Cathy) Kleba, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; brothers in-law, Ron (Marilyn) Repp, of Fond du Lac Wisconsin; Guy (Sue) Repp, of Fond du Lac. Marilyn had many other wonderful family members and friends in her life, including her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sylvia Kleba; brother, Ray Kleba; and sister-in-law, Tomicina Kleba.

Marilyn loved her church, Grace Lutheran, and was a part of the choir, prayer chain and volunteering with vacation Bible School for many years until the disease stole her away. Marilyn enjoyed being outdoors all year around. Whether tending to her flowers, daily walking or just picking up sticks in the yard, she was happiest in the fresh air. She and Tom took many trips together: plane, train, automobile and bike! Marilyn had a life she loved, surrounded by people she loved. Even as the disease progressed, glimpses of her Motherly instinct and care made their way to the surface.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, March 6, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave. Omro. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 at the church. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family with arrangements.

A memorial in Marilyn’s name will be established.

The family of Marilyn Repp would like to express our deepest gratitude and thankfulness to the staff at Country Villa in Omro. Marilyn's needs were always taken care of; both physically and emotionally.
