Jane and family, I was stunned to hear of Pete's passing. Though the good times we shared on Pirate Island were many years ago, remembering Pete's laugh and enthusiasm makes it seem as if they happened yesterday. May you find comfort in the love from God and your family and friends.

Pete was without a doubt one of the most colorful characters in the history of IBM Rochester. However, his genius was that while being a happy go lucky guy he was also one of the driving technical leaders behind the Silver Lake project. And if this wasn't enough he was also my outside consultant when I went to buy my first snowmobiles. My deepest sympathy to all his family and thank you for sharing Pete with us for 31 years at IBM.

Jane, Sue and I were both unbelievably shaken by Deb's call last evening. Please know that you, Debbie, Jennifer and the entire family are in our prayers. You have not only lost your husband but also your very best friend and I have lost my best friend as well. Personally, I will sorely miss Pete, his laugh, his always upbeat attitude toward life and most of all his friendship. He was truly a nice man, a great friend to me and his passing is a great loss that makes this grown man cry. Hopefully the many fond memories of Pete that we all share will give you and all of us some peace and comfort in the years ahead. Your (and Pete's) long time friend, Grant
