Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Shirley K. Bersch, age 72, lifelong resident of Winneconne, died Friday, March 12, 2021, at her home. She was born February 2, 1949, to the late Leonard and Estella (Krohn) Korn. On July 11, 1970, Shirley married John Bersch, and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2003. Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping, being outdoors, gardening, growing flowers, and was a cat lover.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Patty Bersch, of Oshkosh; grandson, Jamie Bersch, of Oshkosh; great-grandson, Sylas Bersch, of Oshkosh; her first cousin and best friend, Sue (Parsons) Nolte; and her friend and neighbor, Nancy Schmidt.
There will be no service held. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.

I was sorry to learn that Shirley had passed. We were friends in high school, and, although we didn't talk too often since then, I still have memories of those conversations we had as teenagers. Shirley, you were always a sweet and soft-spoken friend to me.
