Dianne Marie Geurts, 74, of Winneconne, WI entered into heaven in the presence of the Holy Spirit surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

Dianne was born December 10, 1946, to Arnold and Eileen Gassner in Wausau, WI.

In 1968 she married Ken Geurts; together they went on to have three children. Dianne was a wonderful and loving mother to her children and their spouses. Her strength, kindness, and generosity were an inspiration to all. She will be forever in our hearts.

In addition to being a loving mother, Dianne was devoted to her five grandchildren. She loved to play cards and games. Special memories with the kids include boating and yard games with Ashley, Sarah, and Ray, shuffleboard with Olivia, and playing cars and reading books with young Matthew. She lived for the days with family at the lake, sharing her love of cooking. She enjoyed camping, winters in the south, and summer rides in her convertible.

Dianne was preceded by her parents, Arnold and Eileen Gassner; mother-in-law, Mary Geurts; sister, Joan Igl; and sister-in-law, Chris Gassner.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Ken Geurts; her children, Greg (Kay) Geurts, Carrie (Mark) Gerke, and Kathy (Dave) Weller; her grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Ray, Olivia, and Matthew; siblings, Sue (Al) Ansorge, Kenny (Charlotte) Gassner, Mike Gassner, Jo (Randy) Bockin, Tim (Joanne) Gassner, and Kay Guyant; her father-in-law, Ivo Geurts; Ken’s siblings, Gary (Joanie) Geurts, Denise (Dale) Skuldt, Mike (Ann) Geurts, Nanette Geurts, and John Paul Geurts (Robert Stolt); and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, where a prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 18 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. Ken and family. I was so sorry to learn of Dianne's passing. Dianne and I became friends the first time we met, working side by side at Associated Bank in the 80's. Every day we'd share stories about our families, our children, their school activities and anything else that popped into our heads. It was fun as our children were growing up. No topic was ever off limits. It was always nice to be able to talk to her every day. If Dianne ever met challenges, she met them fiercely, yet calmly and quiet to her family and friends. Although we did not often see each other in these later years, anytime we did meet included a huge, long hug. And then we'd try to catch up on everything. Dianne, you will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to have known you. Rest in peace, my friend.

I remember working with Dianne at Associated Bank in Neenah many years ago. She was really a very nice woman who made all of my days working there fun. She always had a smile on her face and was loved by her customers and fellow workers. Rest In Peace Dianne. You were a great friend and co-worker. Thank you for teaching me how to be a great teller.

We are so sorry to hear of Dianne's passing. We were long ago neighbors in the Town of Neenah where we were raising our families, Dianne and Ken on Fury Ln and Reg and I on Klompen Ct. We both moved to Winneconne in the late 80's and time and circumstances caused us to drift apart. Our love, prayers and thoughts are with Ken and their family
