I'm so sorry to hear about Don. I so enjoyed being his coordinator and getting to know him and his family. He demonstrated such great courage! Nancy - you were a great partner to him especially through his illness. God bless!

On my own behalf, and on behalf of everyone in the Liver Transplant Team at the University of Wisconsin, please accept my sincere condolences. Mr. Sleik was an exemplary patient, who bore his illness with great courage. He maintained his good humor thoughout many ups and downs. It was our privilege to have had the opportunity to care for him.

Sleik Family, my deepest sympathy be with you. It was an honor to have known Don for the past 3 years and I am going to miss our car-side chats out in the field. He held such pride in you and your accomplishments and never missed an opportunity to talk about his grandchildren (and newest great-grandchild). Take Care and God Bless!

Nancy - we go back to Winneconne days and dating. Perhaps you remember me ... dated John H. Always have good memories of those days way back then and Don was a fine guy. My condolenses to your family. You were such a pretty blond and nice person.
