Ingeborg G. Braasch, age 69, of Van Dyne, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born August 17, 1942, in Erfurt, Germany to the late Erich and Gerda Bendrien. On November 22, 1963, she married LeRoy Braasch in Germany. Inge obtained her U.S. citizenship in 1976. She worked at SNC then went on to work as a CNA at the Oshkosh Care Center. Inge then began her own business owning and operating a CBRF, taking in many adults needing care, which she did until her retirement in 2009. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in the Town of Nekimi. Inge enjoyed knitting and crocheting; making several baby blankets for her grandchildren and many other babies. She enjoyed all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and each will have their own blanket made by Grandma. She was a 25-year volunteer for EAA International visitors, interpreting the German language for German visitors.
Inge is survived by her husband of 48 years, LeRoy Braasch; five daughters, Monika Poltrock (Mike Sanchez), Linda (Doug) Levenhagen, Christine (Carl) Kohler, Jacqueline (Myles) Choate, Heide (Chad) West; one son, David (Dawn) Braasch; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Reiner (Sylvia) Bendrien, of Germany; Gunter (Jenny) Meier, of Holland; Hans, of Germany; one sister, Karen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronald (Christy) Braasch, of Oshkosh; Fern (Ronald) Westphal, of Van Dyne; and Judy Braasch, of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews; and many special people who have been added to our growing family.
Along with her parents, Inge was also preceded in death by one brother, Peter Bendrien.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 491 Old Oregon Rd. Oshkosh, with Pastor Ritchie Cole officiating. Burial will be in the Ellenwood Cemetery, Oshkosh. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

My condolonces for the family. I knew Inge from EAA Oshkosh. I always enjoyed talking to her. Our desk in IVT was next to each other. She will be missed. With deepest sympathy.
