She touched the lives of so many, yet in such a quiet way. Diane was always there for me. Being fortunate enough to spend time with Diane and her family since meeting many years ago has truly been a blessing. She is missed by many, no doubt. Rest in peace, Tiger.

It was quite a shock to hear of Diane's passing and it made for a very sad day. It has been a few years since i spoke with her, but i would always exchange emails with her on her birthday. She was a big part of life back in ol' Harbor Valley, where we were all best friends. She was the most athletic one of us, i'm not sure that i ever did beat her in a running race or a swimming race (underwater, she could hold her breath FOREVER). We had a lot of fun together in the Winneconne High School band, playing in the same saxophone section and we won some awards together. I will miss her and i will always remember her and i extend my deepest condolences to her family and friends. To me, a person that you hold in your heart is never truly "gone", and in that way, she will always be a part of my life. Rest in Peace sweet Dee!

I, too, think of Diane as a big part of my childhood. She fit right in with our family like just another sister of mine. Fun days of riding bikes to Dog 'n Suds, ice skating up and down the creek, and soaking up sun tans at the pool. I will forever think of Diane with her smiling grape Kool-Aid smile!

I regret that I won't be able to make it home Wednesday for Diane's service, but plan to honor and celebrate her life in my own private way. Diane was the kind of friend I could talk to maybe only once a year... and we'd pick right up where we had left off. I remember when we were kids I was trying to memorize her address and I kept thinking it was 5151 and she said to me, "I have a way that you'll never forget it. It's 5115 because we're 11 and it's right there in the middle!" Oh to be 11 again, and dreaming about the day we'd get an apartment together and go work at the Snow-Cap. We had it all figured out. I loved her like a sister. To all of Diane's family, I'm so sorry.

Diane was such an important part of the fabric of our lives as kids of Harbor Valley. My heart broke today to hear of her passing. She will be forever 13 to me, in pedal pushers racing up and down Ivy Lane with my sister Beth. We were such lucky little girls to all have each other.
