Lisa "Schmoo" V.M. Mallmann, age 46, of Hortonville, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at home. She was born in Oshkosh on July 21, 1965, to Russel and Marcella (Linssen) Schmude. Lisa was a 1983 graduate of Winneconne High School and she attended UW-Oshkosh. During her high school years, Lisa worked for two summers at The Well Drive-In in Winneconne and for a summer after high school she sheared Christmas trees for Campbell's Christmas Tree Farm in Wautoma. From August 1985 until June 2006, Lisa was employed with Plexus Corporation. She also worked with Together Wedding Photography & Video from May 1994 until May 2001. While taking photos at a wedding, Lisa met Jan Mallmann and they were married on October 16, 1998, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Neenah. Along with photography, Lisa also enjoyed tending her flower beds and yard work. She was a member of Christus Lutheran Church in Greenville.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Jan Mallmann, of Hortonville; two stepsons, stepdaughters, and stepgranddaughters, Samuel and Jenny Mallmann, and Lanie, all of Fremont; Jesse and Kelly Mallmann, and Elise, all of Grand Chute; her father, Russel Schmude, of Omro; half sisters and half brothers, Marie Schmude, of Little Rock, Arkansas; Jeffery (Carrie) Schmude, of Oshkosh; Lawrance Schmude, of Conway, Arkansas; Barbara Volp (Dennis) Petersen, of Franklin; Virginia "Ginny" Volp (Larry) Zink, of Oshkosh; Lola Volp (Lloyd) Schoenfeld, of Clintonville; Wayne Volp, of Winneconne; Rena Volp (Jeffrey) Johnson, of Oshkosh; Larry Volp, of Racine; Glen (Joni) Volp, of Omro; Dale (Laura "LJ") Volp, of Winneconne; Russell (Amy) Volp, of Omro; special family friends, Lee and Patty Volp, and their two daughters, all of Omro; and special friend, Matt Marinack. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tuleen "Tully" Weiss, of Bristol, Wisconsin; Darrow "DJ" (Gwen) Mallmann, of Locust Grove, Virginia; Justin (Brenda) Mallmann, of Bristol; Peter (Ruth) Mallmann, of Bristol; Anne Mallmann (Jessie) Rangel, of Kenosha; and mother-in-law, Annajune (Mickey) Mallmann, of Bristol.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Marcella Schmude; father-in-law, Gerald Mallmann; and a brother-in-law, John Weiss.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Christus Lutheran Church, N1915 Julius Dr. Greenville, with Pastor Alan Schaffmeyer officiating. Burial will be in the Borth Cemetery, Town of Poy Sippi. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, June 21 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, and will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
