Mary Ann Zeinert, age 74, of the town of Vinland, died Sunday December 2, 2012, at home with her loving family at her side. She was born February 21, 1938, in Milwaukee to May (Eulrich) Paulson. Mary Ann was a 1956 graduate of Neenah High School. On February 15, 1958, she married Donald J. Zeinert at Christ Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Along with farming with Don for many years, Mary Ann had also worked at the Sunny View Sanitarium, Guernsey Dairy Company in Oshkosh, and the Winnebago State Hospital. She was a member of the Vinland Center Homemakers, the Four Seasons Study Club, and Lord of the Lakes Church.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 54 years and caretaker, Donald J. Zeinert; three children, David Zeinert, Jeff (Rita) Zeinert, and Janet (John) Kunde, all of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Bailey and Sawyer Zeinert, Jennifer, Justin, and Jaclynn Kunde, and Noah Zeinert, all of Oshkosh; a stepgrandson, Nick Kremer; sister, Diana (Neil) Rasmussen, of Hanover, Pennsylvania; brothers, Charles (Susan) Paulson, of Neenah; Richard (Ann) Paulson, of Omro; Edward (Sally) Paulson, of Round Rock, Texas; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Audrey Weber, of Neenah; Ken and Carol Zeinert, of Menasha; and nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mary Ann was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Zeinert; a grandson, Joshua Kunde; a stepgrandson, Jason Kremer; brother-in-law, John Weber; sister-in-law, Bonnie Paulson; and a nephew, Robert Weber.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Lord of the Lakes Church, 6090 Harbour South, Winneconne (corner of Hwy 116 and Harbour South), with Pastor Kevin Heffernan officiating. Burial will be in Brooks Cemetery, town of Vinland. A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, December 5 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, and will continue on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Mary Ann's family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all who comforted them, especially Dr. Eric Duwell, the Aurora Hospice team, and Pastor Kevin Heffernan, who were a support system for the family during this journey.
