Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Janice Julia (Kromm) Prigan was born December 31, 1943. She was firstborn to George and Lillian (Frasch) Kromm of Omro, WI. Janice was in a life-altering car/train accident in Omro, in a fluke white-out snowstorm April of 1957 with six other children (including Peter her brother) and a teacher Mrs. Flanigan. Janice went on to re-learn how to walk, talk, and live life successfully.
In 1967 she married Richard Paul Prigan, son of Walter Prigan and Arlene Prigan Lichtfuss of Oshkosh, WI and had two beautiful daughters, Joy (Anil) Narang of Northville, MI; and Jane (Jeff) Mottier of Madison, WI. She has three granddaughters, Nicole, Christy and Jenna Mottier; and one grandson, Rushil Narang.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother, Peter Kromm; sister, Ann Egan; great-niece, Emily Kromm, and many aunts and uncles.
Family survivors include daughters; ex-husband, Richard; grandchildren; brother, George Jr. (Shirley Jensen) Candea-Kromm; baby sister, Eileen (Jim) Jooss; sister-in-law, Diane Kromm; brother-in-law, Dan Egan; and many nieces and nephews.
Janice affected everyone’s life deeply with her laughter, silly jokes and smiles! She always had a song in her heart and on her lips... We will truly miss her!
