Carolyn Marie (Pivovar) LaCosse, 75, of Winneconne passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born on December 27, 1945, in Kenosha, a daughter of the late Casimir and Margaret (Fairbanks) Pivovar. Carol was a 1964 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha. On May 1, 1965, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jerry LaCosse. Known for her laughter and cheerful nature, Carol enjoyed softball, bowling, card games, arts and crafts, casinos, and going for long rides with Jerry. Carol also enjoyed preparing family meals during sporting events and holidays. She was an avid Green Bay Packer, Brewers, and Bucks fan. She took great pleasure in traveling with her family on special outings in the family car. Carol had worked at the Winneconne and Winchester Schools in the food service area. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne.

Carol leaves behind a very loving family to remember her: husband of 56 years, Jerry; children, Steve (Sara), Jeff (Kelley), Craig (Heidi); grandchildren, Luke, Gabi, Tyler, Paul, Connor, Austyn, Kayla, Logan, Alexis, William; her siblings, Bill (Jean), Margaret, Ruth (Larry), Jane, Terri, Tom (Jayne), Dorothy (Mike); and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Along with her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph; and a nephew, Kirk.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, August 16, 2021, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Kevin Ripley and Deacon Paul Vidmar officiating. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial for St. Mary Catholic Church in Carol’s name has been established.

Jerry.....Doreen & I send out deepest condolences to you and your family. Seems like yesterday we all were up at the Pub celebrating a big win or trying to figure out a tough loss. Regardless, Carol was always the catalyst for endless positivity and charging forward without hesitation! What an amazing grasp she had towards life and the friendships she shared and cherished! Carol was a dear lady who will be missed by all who loved her. Such a warm heart and an infectious laugh she was a joy to be in her company. Her love for her family was evident in all she did.
