Henry G. Van Cuick, Jr., age 69, of New London, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on November 21, 1943, in Appleton to Henry, Sr. and Elsie (Fjellerod) Van Cuick. Henry attended Kimberly schools. On May 1, 1962, he married Judy Schuh and they made their home in New London. For almost 40 years, Henry was employed by Rich's Bakery. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, snow shoeing, and playing cards. Henry enjoyed wildlife, the outdoors, his dog Duke, and spending time with his family.
Henry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy Van Cuick, of New London; two children, Scot Van Cuick, of Ogdensburg; Brian (Teresa) Van Cuick, of New London; his grandchildren, Karin, Lincoln, and Kelsey Van Cuick; one brother, LeRoy Van Cuick; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

My wife and I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Van Cuick family. I work with his son Brian, and Brian always speaks so highly of his parents, so I know he was a great man. I am sure your dad is looking down on you all now and he is very proud and pain free. God bless.
