Wayne A. Pavlak, age 49, of Butte des Morts, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at home. He was born March 4, 1964, in Neenah to Gordon and Dorothy (Williams) Pavlak. For over 8 years he worked as a diesel mechanic for Quality Truck in Oshkosh. Previous to that he worked for Dodge Country for 15years. Wayne loved spending time working on cars in his garage, watching NASCAR, Packer games, and boating. He especially loved racing in Crandon in the brush runs and riding his Harley.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Missy Pavlak, of Butte des Morts; one child, Cody Pavlak, of Butte des Morts; prior children, Amber Pavlak (fiancé, William), of Oshkosh; Joshua Pavlak, of Oshkosh; two grandchildren, Ashley and T.J. Pavlak; his mother, Dorothy (Steve) Tyson, of Oshkosh; his father, Gordon Pavlak, of Winneconne; two brothers, Alan and David Pavlak, both of Oshkosh; one sister, Beverly (Roy) Neuman, of Winneconne; his nephews and nieces who he was very close to, Travis (Joanna), Christopher (Robbi), Nicholas (Charisma), Brett (Sara), Sabrina (Jason), Jenna, and Jon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Penny Schmid; the family pets Sky Dog and Bear Bear; and many other cherished relatives and great friends. Wayne had a big heart and would do anything for anyone and always put others before himself.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Craig Neuman.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, September 7, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh on Monday, September 9.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
