Louise Lynn (Angle) Smith, age 59, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013, at her mother's home surrounded by her family, after a one year battle with lung and brain cancer. She was born December 10, 1953, to James W. and Edrie (Overman) Angle.
Louise went to Auroraville Elementary School up to 6th grade, Clay Lamberton, and graduated from Berlin High School in 1973. On August 12, 1977, she married Paul "Snuff" Smith, and they later separated. Until 1976 Louise worked at the Berlin Foundry then moved to Fond du Lac to work at The Larson Company (later known as Dean Foods) where she worked for 26 years. After the plant closed, Louise found employment at Evco Plastics in Oshkosh and Federal Mogul in Waupun. In 2010 she returned to the Berlin area. Louise never had children, her two cats were her kids, but had many special nieces and nephews that she shared her life with. She enjoyed the Packers, Brewers, and watching the early morning and evening news. Over many years, Louise took several trips to Cancun, which she loved.
Louise is survived by her mother, Edrie "Sue" Angle of Auroraville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, and one sister and special brother-in-law, James and Mary Angle, of Fond du Lac; Karen and Randy Wesner, of Omro; Dan and Amy Angle, of Berlin; Scott and Teri Angle, of Fond du Lac; nine nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends; and her two cats, Ethel and Lucy.
Preceding Louise in death was her father, James Angle; an infant sister, Kathleen; her nephew and Godchild, Craig Wesner; and her beloved pets, Wes, Mooch, and Swivel.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Neil Wilson will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Shead Island Cemetery, Town of Aurora.
Louise's family offers special thanks to her good friend Wendy Tindall, also Joni, Linda, Barb S., and Mary L. for the cards, visits, and loving support. They also wish to acknowledge the wonderful care from Dr. Robert Geller and his great staff, Kristie, Danielle, Traci, and Jessica; as well as the staff of Agnesian Hospice Care of Green Lake.
