Ethel Agnes Belfeuil, age 89, of Omro, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Webster Manor in Omro. She was born January 16, 1924, in the Town of Poy Sippi to the late Ernest and Bertha (Mielke) Buhrow. On June 18, 1945, Ethel married Walter Belfeuil in Omro and they farmed in the Borth and Princeton areas for 6 years. In 1951 Ethel and Wally moved to Omro. Ethel was employed with Deltox Rug in Oshkosh, Omro Products, Standard Kollsmon in Oshkosh, and Wagners Electric Products in Winneconne. Ethel was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Omro where she had been a Sunday school teacher, and was involved in the Mission Quilters, Bible study, Evening Ladies Guild, and the church newsletter which her and Wally helped start. She was also a volunteer for ADVOCAP, was a member of the Sunshine Singers, and played piano and along with Oscar and Sylvia Buhrow led the singers at the Omro Care Center for many years.
Ethel is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, W.E. "Skip" and Mary Belfeuil, of Princeton; Eddie and Denise Belfeuil, of Winneconne; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Armand Lewis, Linda and Donald Hertzberg, all of Omro; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one brother and four sisters-in-law, Clifford and Shirley Buhrow, of Winter Park, Florida; Sylvia Buhrow, of Sparta; Zeta Buhrow, of Redgranite; Donna Buhrow, of Omro; one sister, Wilhelmina Wagner, of Shawano; one brother-in-law, Bill Gentry, of Waupun; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Along with her parents, Ethel was also preceded in death by her husband Walter on February 6, 1994; an infant daughter, Kathleen; two great-granddaughters, Heidi and Anna Sullivan; nine brothers, William, Fred, Carl, Harvey, Wesley, Edward, Alvin, Ernest, and Oscar Buhrow; and three sisters, Alma Moon, Caroline Crouch, and Alice Gentry.
A funeral service will be held on Monday November 18, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave. Omro, with Pastor John Brogaard officiating. Burial will follow in the Omro Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, November 17 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the CHURCH and will continue on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Handbell Choir.
Ethel's family wishes to thank the staff at Lakeland Care District for all of their help, and the staffs of Webster Manor and Heartland Hospice for all of their care and support.

So sorry regarding the passing of your mother. She was an awesome lady. I remember her and Wally and the children exchanging visits at each others homes years and years ago. What fun that was to be with cousins and Aunt & Uncle. My sympathy to her family and friends she will be remembered as a gracious, caring woman. Susie

Sorry to hear our good friend for many years has gone with our lord. Our love & Prayers are with you. She was a wonderful lady and a very hard worker. I worked with her for 8 years at Standard Kollsman. She and her Husband, Wally visited with us in Del Rio, Tx. We will miss her every day, we kept in touch each year by phone.
