Lillian Hansen, age 95, of Larsen, passed away, Monday, November 18, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born May 14, 1918, in the town of Winchester to the late Albert and Louise (Drews) Romme. On May 21, 1938, Lillian married George Hansen in Oshkosh, and they made their home, raised their family, and farmed in the town of Winchester. George preceded Lillian in death on December 11, 1993.
Surviving Lillian are four sons, Roland (Joan) Hansen, of Larsen, Don (Peggy) Hansen, of Larsen; Rick (Julie) Hansen, of Readfield; John (Rhonda) Hansen, of Neenah; five daughters, Dolly (Alan) Olson, of Neenah; Jean (Gary) Laabs, of Neenah; Joan (Neal) Gullikson, of Green Bay; Debby (Kenneth) Haase, of Larsen; Kathy (Mike) Schwengel, of Saukville; 27 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, Lillian was also preceded in death by one son, George, Jr.; one daughter, Doris; one brother, Ranyo Romme; and one sister, Velma Becker.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, November 22, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Kinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Winneconne Cemetery.
Lillian's family wishes to thank Judy Jennerjohn, Judy Konow, and the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for all of the care and support given to her.
