Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
LeRoy E. Boe, age 73, of Winchester died Friday, November 22, 2013, at home. He was born March 28, 1940, to the late Milton and Thelma (Hanson) Boe. LeRoy was a 1958 graduate of Winneconne High School. On November 16, 1963, he married Bonnie Troxell. For 26 years he owned and operated LeRoy's Auto Service. LeRoy was a member of the Clayton/Winchester Fire Dept. for many years where he served as an assistant fire chief, then as fire chief. He also was a first responder and was involved in arson investigation for the fire department. LeRoy's true passion was flying. He was an active member of the Winchester Area Historical Society.
LeRoy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Boe; one son, Brian E. Boe, and his children, , Ashley, Brandon, Kyna, and Courtny Boe; daughter-in-law, Kelly (John) Wisnefske, and their children, Laura (Justin) Dempsey, Samantha Boe (Adam Merkley); great-grandchildren, Phenix, Makala, and Logan; two brothers, Norbert (Pat) Boe, and children, Kris and Eric; Jeffrey (Connie) Boe, and daughter, Wendy; and many other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, LeRoy was also preceded in death by a son, Allan Boe; and a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Brenda Boe.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. There will be no funeral service held. Inurnment will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Winchester.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
LeRoy's family offers special thanks to: ThedaCare at Home Hospice, Erin, Jennifer, and the girls, for all of their care given to him; also thank you to the special people at Oink's for all of the good food, coffee, concern , and caring; and the Larsen/Winchester Lions Club for the ramp built to assist the family with their needs.

Bonnie, Leroy will be forever etched in our hearts. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. 50 years together and you two were like newlyweds... We love and miss you at the air park (in Florida). John, Laura, Austin, Shelby, Jackie and the "kids"
