Judith Ann Lenz, age 74, of Omro, died Tuesday November 26, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 2, 1939, in Neenah to the late Glen and Verna (Bradley) Smith. Judy was a 1957 graduate of Winneconne High School. On October 22, 1960, she married Richard Lenz at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church and they made their home in the Town of Omro. Judy had worked for Kimberly-Clark and Miles Kimball. She loved watching her grandkids in sports and their many activities and most recently watching her oldest granddaughter completing the Madison Ironman. Judy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Zion and its Ladies Aid.
Judith is survived by two daughters, Julie (Tom) Palmer, of Stoughton; Janet (Jay) Treleven, of Omro; one brother, Kenneth (Rose) Smith, of Oshkosh; one sister, Jane Tennant, of Neenah; sister-in-law, Joyce (Jim) Thomas; brother-in-law, Steven (Alana) Lenz; six grandchildren, Tracy Palmer (Seth Kussmaul), Steven Palmer, Kevin Palmer, Jonathon (Kirby) Treleven, Brian (Jen) Treleven and Colby, Megan Treleven; and one great-grandchild on the way.
Along with her parents, Judy was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard on June 19, 2008; one son, Michael Lenz; and two sisters, Jean Heagle and Janice Smith.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, December 1, 2013, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, 5355 County Trunk K, Oshkosh. A funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Jud Krohn officiating. Burial will be in the Omro Cemetery on Monday, December 2.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember her smile and that gleam in her eye every time I saw her in church. She was truly a wonderful person and I was blessed to have known her. My prayers go out to you all.
