Thomas "Sarg" H. Senn, age 80, of Wild Rose, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 28, 1933, in Oshkosh to the late Roland and Virginia (McCabe) Senn. Sarg lived in Oshkosh most of his life but was stationed all over the world. Tom served his country for 22 years in the U.S. Air Force retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1975. He was an Air Operations Specialist, Command Control Superintendent, and a Chief Controller, earning numerous medals, including the National Defense Service Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, and the Bronze Star. On June 17, 1960, Tom married Jeanine "Susie" Anne Kennedy. After retiring from the Air Force, he owned Susie's Bar in Clintonville and the Jockey Club in Oshkosh. Sarg loved all animals, the outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Tom is survived by two sons, Randy (Melanie) Moreno, of Omaha, Nebraska; Thomas P. Senn, of Omaha, Nebraska; granddaughter and loving caregiver, Susieanna Senn (fiancé, Joshua Smith), of Wautoma; grandchildren, Thomas J. Senn (fiancée, Sherry Coleman), of Green Bay; Nathan Schultz ,of Oshkosh; Jessica Moreno, Justin Senn, Ashley Senn, and Jordan Senn, all of Omaha, Nebraska; five great-grandchildren, Joshua C. Smith, Jacob N. Smith, both of Wautoma; Chase and Chandler Coleman, Henry Thomas Senn, all of Green Bay; one sister, Marlene Senn, of Combined Locks; sister-in-law, Maxine Dennison, of Brighton, Colorado; brother-in-law, Finn (Debbie) Kennedy, of Boulder, Colorado; niece and nephews, Timmi and Dennis Stark, Bobby Kennedy, Troy Kennedy, all of Brighton, Colorado; son-in-law, Randy Schultz, of Oshkosh; family friend and loving caregiver, Kathy Carey, of Wautoma; and many more loving friends and family.
Along with his parents, Sarg was also preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine "Susie" Senn, on January 2, 2013; three children, Jimmy Davis, Roland Senn, and Georgia Senn Schultz; and brother-in-law, Sonny Kennedy.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, January 18, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Wild Rose Legion Hall, 545 Front St. Wild Rose where Military Honors will be performed at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Senn family at 180 Hunter St. Wild Rose, WI 54984.
