Ronald B. Otto, age 76, of Omro, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014.
He was born March 8, 1937, to Hallett and Frieda (Bruss) Otto. On April 2, 1960, Ron married Judith C. Mueller, and she preceded him in death on December 5, 1999.
Ron served his country in the U.S. Air Force and had been stationed in England. He later went on to work at the Leach Company in Oshkosh from which he also retired.
He is survived by a daughter, Leanne (Robert) Doro, of Omro; his sister, Doris Hanway, of West Allis; two nephews, Louis (Sandy) Krueger, of West Allis; Robert (Alice) Krueger, of Milwaukee; one niece, Karen (Randy) Woodward, of Madison; his very special friend and companion, Diane Danay, of Omro; and friends and other relatives.
Preceding Ron in death were his parents; his wife, Judy; two brothers, Robert and Carl; a sister-in-law, Delores Otto; and two brothers-in-law, Harold Krueger and John Hanway.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5355 Cty Rd K, Zion. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Jud Krohn officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Omro Cemetery.
