To the family of Richard "Itch" Blank my deepest sympathy on the loss of Itch. I worked with him for 40 years, much of it at his machine at Banta in the bindery. We duck hunted almost every day during the duck season for many, many years. He taught me a lot. To this day I remember when I thought I saw a pintail (duck) and he laughed and said "that is a sea gull". My excuse was I was looking into the sun and he was right and I think of him whenever I see a sea gull. I stopped at his house a couple of times since his retirement and planned on doing that again this fall.

Mark and Troy, I worked with your Dad at Banta's on his machine for many years. He was a very good machine operator. I always enjoyed the fish, duck and whatever else he (and your Mom) came up with for lunch. I have good memories of your Dad. The best to both of you and the boys. God Bless You. Greg
