I got to know Beth when I student taught across the hall from her classroom and during my first years of teaching. She was always so warm and friendly, and a good mentor for new teachers.

Lee and family: We are so sorry to hear of Beth's passing. She was a kind and remarkable person. We met you through Appleton North Wrestling. Beth was always willing to share her talents with us as the wrestling families spent many hours together. We especially enjoyed the fudge she shared with all. She was quiet throughout all of Alex's wrestling matched, except for one time when she lost it. Alex was wrestling his senior year and it was an important match for him and his family. Every Appleton North wrestling parent was watching his match. However some Mom from the other team happened to sit a few rows below us and Alex must have been wrestling her son because she kept standing up and yelling. Beth could not take anymore of this disruption, she stood up and told the lady, "Sit down or I'll pin you!!!" You could have heard a pin drop in our section of the bleachers - it was great!!! Way to go Beth!!! She is now is God's outreached arms and watching all of you from heaven. Our prayers to all....

I worked with Beth in AASD. She was so highly respected for her knowledge, work ethic, and success working with staff and students alike. You can be assured that she was sorely missed when she retired due to her illness. Please extend my condolences to her family. She was one of a kind, a true leader, not to mention, kind, thoughtful and always willing to share her knowledge and skills.

First off I would like to express my deepest sympathies to Beth's entire family. Beth had such a vibrant spirit, even in her latter years with dementia. She became my friend and we made so many lovely memories for me. My only wish is that I made a difference in every day for her, the way she did for others for so may years. I know she is free now, which makes me smile but the emptiness without her with take a long time to heal. May you all find comfort in knowing she was loved by many, many people.

We were so sorry to hear about Beth. We lived across the street on Heritage Court and our children played and celebrated birthdays together. Derryl remembers taking walks with Beth and Beth talking about the excitement of teaching children to read and her love for her family. Once when Derryl was out of town, Steve came down with a bad flu, and Beth gathered up Ryan and Jeremy to care for them in your house until Derryl returned. Beth was so kind and you were wonderful neighbors. May her memory be a blessing.
