Pat was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She would light up telling stories about her children, grandchildren and sharing pictures of her new great grandchild. Her strong spirit, bright smile, and sense of humor will be sorely missed. We will remember her riding on her lawn mower in the summer, pushing that big snow blower in the winter, and walking Polly any time of the year. Her strength and stamina were amazing. She loved to help her neighbors any way she could. She always made us one of her famous angel food cakes (with homemade frosting!) on our birthdays. She was like a second mother to me (Tammy). I'll always remember the many things that she taught me.
It's hard to imagine life in Butte des Morts without her. It's also hard to drive by her house and know that she's not there. She was always happy to have a visitor, with or without advance notice.
Our condolences go out to Dale, Laura, and their families. We are so sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort your hearts. Sending you all heart felt prayers.
