Lucille Lee Cartwright, age 72, of Winneconne, died Thursday, November 11, 2021, at her home. She was born December 7, 1948, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to the late Wesley Sr. and Daisy (Walters) Fields. On May 22, 1970, she married Rodney Cartwright. Lucy’s work career included: Miles Kimball, Oshkosh B’Gosh, and Wayne’s Piggly Wiggly. She enjoyed playing Bunko, reading, doing crossword puzzles, gardening, taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and in her earlier years bowling and playing softball. For many years Lucy volunteered with ADVOCAP.

Lucy is survived by two sons, Anthony Cartwright, of Winneconne; Russell (Lisa Bilderback) Cartwright, of Hastings, Minnesota; grandchildren, Curtis Kain, of Oshkosh; Kenneth and Brooke Cartwright, of Hastings, Minnesota; great-grandchildren, Mariah Hope Kain, Axel Rodney Kain, Odin Ray Kain; two brothers, Wesley Jr. (Karen) Fields, Daniel Fields; a sister, Pat (Mike) Jasinski; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Along with her parents, Lucy was also preceded in death by her husband, Rodney, on March 18, 2011.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, where a prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later date at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for ADVOCAP.

Sorry for your loss Tony and Russell. Your Mom and I were friends for a lot of years . She will be missed but I'll always remember the fun we had crafting. She taught me to crochet! Never got around to making the lamp shades out of egg cartons though! Lol
