Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Mike Kuberski, age 47 passed away in his home in Winneconne, WI on November 19, 2021.
He was born on September 8, 1974, to Bonnie (Lilly) Kuberski and Kenneth Kuberski. He resided in Algonquin and Lake in the Hills, IL for the first half of his life before moving to Wisconsin in 2005 with his wife, Lesa and son, Dean.
Mike had a lot of pride for his country and was proud to work on the trucks he built at Oshkosh Defense ensuring that the work he did would protect our service people. His career prior to Oshkosh was in auto body repair and painting for 20 years. He did amazing work, his favorite being classic cars. Mike loved bringing something old and broken back to better than original shine. This pride and commitment to perfection even earned him a mention in Hot Rod Magazine many years ago.
The greatest joy in Mike’s life was his son, Dean. He loved Dean with more than his whole heart, “biggest of all”. If you got the chance to hear a story, you knew exactly how proud Mike was when he talked about him.
Mike is survived and his memory cherished by his mother, Bonnie (Lilly) Kuberski; father, Kenneth Kuberski; son, Dean Kuberski; wife of 19 years, Lesa (Jorgensen); brothers, Bill Kuberski (Tammy Milbratz), and Dave (Adria) Kuberski; mother-in-law, Millie Jorgensen; sister-in-law, Viki (Kevin) Carlson; brother-in-law, Erik (Michelle) Jorgensen; as well as all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins. The love and pride Mike had for Dean extends to his nieces and nephews, Kalie (Christopher) Crum, Bill (Jodi) Kuberski, Alyssa Hickey (Jeff Wolff), Ceara Kuberski, Jayden Carlson, Broc Kuberski, Luke Kuberski, Maddox Carlson, Grant Kuberski; as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on December 18, 2021, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Local UAW 578 Union Hall 2920 Oregon Street Oshkosh, WI 54902. We thank the Union for their donation of the space. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be set up for the benefit of Dean’s college tuition, he aspires to attend UW-Madison in Fall of 2023.

it is with sadness that I find this so late .
He was a great guy . The Kuberski's were my rte 66 family .
Many a joy came from those 4 days of camping at the track .
We saw our families grow , and Wed and Pass.
I miss getting with them all .

Wow, where does a person start in remembering Mike. His laughter and smile brightened the room and the crowd wherever he went! I knew Mike and worked with Mike these last 3-5 years he was with us. There's no doubt the greatest thing that ever happened in his life was his son! He talked about Dean everyday, how proud he was of him, and the courageous young man he was becoming. Deans hockey and football games. How excited he was for his future in playing football in college somewhere, and even talking about moving wherever he went to school so he could watch every game! He wanted to be wherever his son was gonna be. He was going to build him a forge for metal work, build a shop, the future Mike talked about was endless. He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone he could. I don't like asking for help and Mike insisted last year he and another friend from work were going to help me put up my "Taj Mahal" of a deer stand as he called it. It was an all day project and I couldn't have done it without their help, and that year I killed my biggest gun buck! Thank you Mike! I was so sad to hear of his passing, he was such an amazing friend. He will definitely be missed and remembered by everyone he touched throughout his journey of life! Fly high buddy and may you rest in peace as you watch over your son and smile at all the accomplishments he will achieve because of what you've taught him and believed in him to do!!

I had the honor and good fortune of knowing Mike while working together at Oshkosh. Mike was a great man who truly cared about all those around him. He was always willing to help those in need, without hesitation. His personality and laughter brought smiles to those who were blessed to spend moments in his presence.
Mike will be missed by many, but will be continued to be cherished for the memories and smiles he made by many more.
Rest In Peace good sir.
I pray for peace and comfort during these difficult times for all Mikes friends and family. Just know, he many not be here, but he will never be gone.
