I was very saddened to hear of Don's passing, and would like to offer my deepest sympathy to his family. Don truly was a wonderful man, and we became friends over the years, as he always took great care of my pup, Casey. She loved it out there, where she could run like the wind. I knew from the first day I met Don, that he would take excellent care of her. My grandson always came with me to drop her off and pick her up. He liked talking to Don each time, and said he would love to live out there. Don was very Special, and will be missed by many.

We met Don through A&L and brought our dog, Sam, there many times. Don's kindness to us and Sam was always greatly appreciated. Our friendship built through the years and we would spend quite a bit of time chatting when dropping off or picking up. Don had a kind heart and a true love for the dogs he cared for. I always felt like I had just dropped Sam off with a member of the family when I went to A&L. I wish I could tell Sam in a way that he could understand that his friend, Mr. Don, as we called him, now walks with God. I can't tell you how much we will miss Don. We want to express our deep sympathy and heartfelt condolences over your loss, but know that Don holds a special place in our hearts.

Buddies you could say.we trusted Don with our puppy & no one else. She is six yrs. old now & probably misses A & L kennels.Since Dons illness & closing the kennel,we have family come into our home to care for Tessa while we are on vacation. Don is at peace now & pain free,on eagles wings he will fly.
