Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Edith Christensen, of Winneconne, was called to her final resting place on Friday, October 10, 2014. She will be welcomed with open arms by her loving husband Kenneth and very special friend that were called before her.
She leaves behind five children, Shanandoor (Brian), Theresa (Dave), Johnny (special friend, Ann), Chris, and Tony; one special person she considered her other daughter, Diane (her special partner Corey) and her three boys that thought of her as a grandmother, Josh, Joey, and Troy; a very special niece, Cindy and her children. Also surviving Edith are her grandchildren, Aaron, Kelly (Craig), Sean, Keith (Sarah), Ashton, April, Katlin, Daniel, Brittney, Johnathan (who is waiting for her), Stephen, Hailey, Emily, and Trinity; great-grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Bryce, and Brea. She has three wonderful sisters, Roselie, Virginia, and Ruth; special friends, Betty, Lisa, Barb, and Corkie; many other special nieces and nephews; and many more friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Michael Warden and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Burial will follow in the Winneconne Cemetery.
Per Edith's request she asked for no flowers at her funeral. She also said if she can have them when she is alive to enjoy them, so if you desire please send a donation to one of your favorite charities in her honor and to support the family.
