Where Caring Is A Family Tradition
Marie "Tootie" J. (Reinke) Henriksen Langeberg, age 86, of Winneconne, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at home surrounded by family.
She was born to the late Arno and Hazel (Angell) Reinke on June 30, 1928. Tootie was a 1946 graduate of Winneconne High School. On December 29, 1951, she married Irvin L. Henriksen and they had three daughters. Marie married Lawrence Langeberg of Omro on August 25, 1973, which resulted in her moving from Winneconne to Omro and beginning a life on a dairy farm.
Marie was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne. Upon retirement Marie and Larry enjoyed traveling cross country from Florida to Washington visiting many relatives along the way. They particularly enjoyed their trips to Jamaica. Tootie also enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Marie is survived by her three daughters, Gail (Thomas) Mandli, of Peshtigo; Patty (Norman) Marine, of Winneconne; Melanie (Mike) Molash, of Marquette, Michigan; eight grandchildren, Matthew (Sara) Castor, Adam (Teri) Cole, Craig (Trish) Mandli, Brett Mandli, Scott Marine, Todd Marine, Staci (Travis) Derr, Amanda Molash; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four step-children, Eugene Langeberg, of Hudson, Wisconsin; Mike (Nancy) Langeberg, of Tomahawk; Albert (Anna) Langeberg, of Maryland; Esther (Al) Losinske, of Oklahoma; ten step-grandchildren; fifteen step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Along with her parents, Marie was also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; one sister, Bernice Trapp; one brother, Alvin Reinke; and a son-in-law, Robert Cole.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, February 7, 2015, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 8 S. Fourth St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ben Berger officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
A special thank you to Scott Marine for the loving care he gave to Grandma for the past 2 years. Marie's family also wishes to thank the 2nd Floor Patient Care Unit staff at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh.
