Nita S. Tellock, age 95, of Neenah went to her home in heaven on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. She was born May 31, 1919, in the Town of Winneconne to the late David and Sylvia (Grundman) Struensee. On May 31, 1940, Nita married Arnold Tellock in Oshkosh where they resided for 8 years. In 1948, Nita and Arnold made their home and farmed in Neenah. For many years she worked at JC Penney in Neenah. Nita enjoyed traveling with bus tours, crafts, crocheting, bird watching, camping, and fishing. She was a member of Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church in Neenah.
Nita is survived by one son, Roger Tellock (special friend, Devi Dharamdass), of Neenah; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Vinita Tellock, of Neenah; Karen and David Zilisch, of Neenah; Donna and Christopher Pollack, of Pickett; eight grandchildren, Christine (Steve) Dulian, Rochester, Minnesota; Wendy (Rich) Sontag, of Greenville; Jesse McGinnis, of Neenah; Angela (John) Nickel, of Larsen; Bryan (Erika) Zilisch, of Neenah; Heather Stanbery (special friend, Duane Kuba), of Ripon; Stacey (Patrick) Ruedinger, of Oshkosh; Susan (Scott) Delorme, of Oshkosh; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Arvilla Luebke; a brother, Nathan Struensee; and a brother-in-law, Herbert Tellock.
Along with her parents, Nita was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold on January 13, 2004; a daughter-in-law, Karen Tellock; a grandson-in-law, Brian Stanbery; and two great-grandchildren, Lance and Annaleese Delorme.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, March 12, 2015, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church, 436 S. Lake St. Neenah. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Jason Oakland and Pastor Tyler Shinnick officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
Nita's family wishes to thank the Bethel Home staff for the wonderful care of their mom during her time there.
