Edward "Ted" Michael, age 69, of Winneconne, died Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. He was born August 1, 1945, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Edward J. and Cora Mae (Dellenberger) Michael.
In 1971 Ted moved to Winneconne and had worked for First Federal for many years. From 1982 until 2013 Ted owned Home Title & Abstract in Oshkosh. In 2006 Ted purchased a home in The Villages, Florida, splitting his time between there and his home on Lake Winneconne. He loved playing Rummikub at the pool at The Villages, vacationing in Aruba, playing golf, fishing trips to Canada, and listening to records.
Ted is survived by three children, Ginger Michael, of Winneconne; Ryan Michael, of Stevens Point; Amanda Michael, of Oshkosh; a granddaughter, Bethann Seaman, of Larsen; a grandson, Owen Michael, of Stevens Point; a great-grandson, Tucker Kasuboski, of Larsen; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Marilyn Michael, of Greenville, Pennsylvania; former wives, Mary Jo Winkenwerder, of Winneconne; Katherine Olk, of Oshkosh; and his dog, Gigi.
Along with his parents, Ted was also preceded in death by two wives, Sally (Klawitter) Michael, and Diane (Stecker) Michael.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, May 22, 2015, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A service will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, May 22 after 6:00 p.m. at Woodeye's Bar & Grill, 700 W. Main St. Winneconne.
