Todd Christensen, age 58 of Winneconne passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle on Tuesday June 9, 2015, at home with family at his side. He was raised in Menomonee Falls, the son of Bernard and Jean (Linzmeyer) Christensen. Todd served our country in the United States Army. On May 9, 1981, Todd married Rebecca Zizzo in Menomonee Falls. For 31 years he was employed with the U.S. Post Office. Todd served as a 4-H Leader for many years with the Poygan Go-Getters. He enjoyed hunting, camping with his family, and was active in conservation efforts, including tree planting. While his children attended Enterprise Elementary School, Todd donated a tree to every student each Arbor Day.
Todd is survived by his wife of 34 years, Becky Christensen; his mother, Jean Christensen; his children, Stephanie (Robert) Youngs, Melissa (Ty) Walker, Joshua Christensen; grandchildren, Aubrey, Olive, Ayden, and Julian; siblings, Theresa (Steven) Blazich, Suzie (John) Fenton, Paul (Joyce) Christensen, Beth (James) Kroeger, Carol (Randy) Borchard, Maria (Mark) Stuettgen; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceding Todd in death was his father, Bernard Christensen; and niece, Kelly Campbell.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Winneconne Christian Fellowship 313 N. Ninth Ave. Winneconne. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3:30 at the church with Pastor Dan Gibson officiating. Military honors will follow. A luncheon will be at the church following the service and military honors.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Todd's name for the VHL (Von Hippel-Lindau) Alliance for Cancer Research and Support. Please send to;
