Patricia Jane Christianson age 89, died January 24, 2022, at her home.

Patricia Christianson was born Patricia Jane Kellogg in 1932 in the town of Wyocena, WI. As a young child, she moved with her parents to a farm in Allenville where she also attended grade school. She graduated from Winneconne High School. Pat married Verne Christianson at the First Presbyterian Church of Oshkosh on June 6, 1952. She and her husband raised eight children in Winneconne, WI.

Pat worked for more than twenty years at the Winnebago County Health Care Center, at both The Pavilion and Parkview Health Care Facility where she made many lifelong friends. She volunteered for many years at the ADVOCAP Meals on Wheels in Winneconne, where again she made many lifelong friends. Pat was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Winneconne serving in many areas of the church. She regularly attended service and bible study, baked for church functions, and as a church deacon, she called and visited members and sent out cards.

Pat was determined to maintain her health and fitness, taking daily walks and at 89, attending exercise classes. She enjoyed baking and cooking, and never showed up empty-handed at any get-together or function. Pat will be remembered above all as the center of her family and the matriarch around which they congregated. She deeply loved and was deeply loved by her large family and many grandchildren. The steadfast and unconditional love she modeled is the inheritance she passes to her children, and they to theirs.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Verne Charles Christianson; her father, William Thomas Kellogg; and her mother Charlotte Grace (Miracle) Kellogg.

She is survived by her children, William Christianson, Phillips, WI; Barbara (Dennis) Biggar, Winneconne, WI; Nancy (Greg) Krings, St Germain, WI; Judy (Jim) Grinnell, Winneconne, WI; Richard (Sara) Christianson, Winneconne, WI; Carol (Jeff) Stelmach, Arcadia, WI; Jill (Todd) Mickelson, Winneconne, WI; and Stephanie (Bryan) Fuhs, Iola, WI; her sisters, Marge Zehner, Neenah, WI; Shirley Shultz, Peyton/Wetmore, CO; Jeanette (Jerry) Schaumann, Boom Bay, WI; Kathy Tesmer of Plymouth, MN; one sister-in-law, Verla Plummer, Oshkosh, WI. Pat has 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Bell Cemetery, Winneconne.

Any donations received will be sent to ADVOCAP Meals on Wheels in honor of Pat’s memory.

John 15:12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”

Sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I remember all the time I spent at your house growing up and the special conversations I had with your mom. We have another angel watching over us.

I was shocked to hear about Pat's accident and her passing. She was such a nice lady and I always thought so much of her. I am unable to make it to her funeral Sunday but please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to each and every one of you.
