Rosemary N. (Race) Kunde, of Oshkosh, died early Sunday morning, November 29, 2015, at University Hospital in Madison at the age of 80. She was born on January 4, 1935, to the late Joseph and Luella (Pease) Milner. Rosemary was a homemaker, member of the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution), and a volunteer at the Bethesda Store in Neenah, Winneconne Historical Society, and St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winneconne, where she was a member.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Donald Kunde; sons, Edward (Karrie) Race, John Race; four grandchildren, Olivia Race, Caleb Race, Ashley Race - four great-grandchildren, Naomi Race; sisters, Audrey Gross, Joyce Sohm; brothers, David (Shirley) Milner, Paul (Karen) Milner; sister-in-law, June Otto; step-daughter, Joanne Magnuson; step-grandsons, Robert Magnuson, Rodger (Jennifer) Magnuson, Roy (Kathy) Magnuson; step-children and their families, John (Janet) Kunde and their children, Jennifer, Justin, and Jaclynn Kunde; Mark (Cheryl) Kunde and their children, Sarah (Jon) Walsh, Amanda Kunde (Brandon Schleif), Stacey Kunde, Mitchell Kunde (Katie Baltus), Rhonda Kunde, and Wanda Kunde; Carol (John) Luedtke and their children, Eric, Nicole, and Tricia Luedtke; Karen Kunde (Tom Samuel); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, and will continue on Friday, December 4 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church 8 S. Fourth St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Mark Albrecht officiating. Burial will follow in the Winneconne Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the UWH Carbone Cancer Center 600 Highland Ave. Madison, WI 53792.
