Christopher J. Pollack, age 64, of Pickett died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at home, after a 3 year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born October 3, 1951, in Oshkosh to the late Joseph and Lola (Berndt) Pollack. Chris was a 1970 graduate of Oshkosh High School. On November 13, 1976, he married Donna Tellock at Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Chris was a pilot and with his father he owned and was a flight instructor with Pollack Aircraft Sales in Oshkosh. For 37 years he worked at Giddings and Lewis in Fond du Lac. Chris enjoyed Brewer games, renaissance festivals, and doing genealogy. He had been a member of EAA, and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Oshkosh where he had served as a Stephen minister.
Chris is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna Pollack, of Pickett; three daughters, Heather Stanbery (special friend, Duane Kuba), of Ripon; Stacey (Pat) Ruedinger, of Oshkosh; Susan (Scott) Delorme, of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Ambrosia Stanbery, Spencer Stanbery, Madeline Ruedinger, Patrick Ruedinger, Elizabeth Ruedinger, Alexzander Delorme, Jenna Delorme; and other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, Chris was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Lance and Annaleese Delorme; and a son-in-law, Brian Stanbery.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, February 8, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church 240 W. 9th Ave. Oshkosh. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor John Worzala Dumke officiating. Burial will follow in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh.
A memorial is being established in Chris' name.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Wilson and nurse Edie Nieman from Aurora HealthCare for all of their care given to Chris.
