Donna E. Pipkorn, of Oshkosh passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Park View Health Center. She was born on April 29, 1921, in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Guy and Lillian (Marks) Grundy.
On June 20, 1952, Donna married Homer W. Pipkorn Jr. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Oshkosh.
She was a graduate of Oshkosh High School and Oshkosh Teachers College. Donna was a teacher at Manitowoc and Oshkosh Longfellow Schools. When her husband died in 1957 she became President of Pipkorn Fuel & Supply Company. She later became treasure of Pipkorn's of Oshkosh Inc.
Donna was active with the Winnebagoland United Cerebral Palsy, American Red Cross, 20th Century Club, and Friends of the Oshkosh Senior Center
Donna is survived by a son, H. W. Skip (Ellen) Pipkorn; two sisters-in-law, Marge Grundy and Dorothy Grundy. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friend, Debbie Ertmer.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Homer; three brothers, Mark, Phil, and Floyd Grundy, and a sister-in-law, MaryAnn Grundy.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon at the Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd. Oshkosh. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at Noon at the Lake View Chapel. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
