Harley O. Olson, age 85, of the Town of Clayton, died unexpectedly, Sunday, January 3, 2010 at home. He was born November 25, 1924, in the Town of Winchester, to the late Oscar and Beata (Huber) Olson. On May 26, 1983, Harley married Shirley Wruck. He farmed all of his life in the Town of Winchester with his brother Joseph. Harley served on the board of directors of the Larsen Co-op from 1971 to 1986, and he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester.
Harley is survived by his wife, Shirley Olson; his twin sister, Helen Bacon; one brother, Joseph (Carla) Olson; nephews and nieces, Daniel (Elayne) Olson, Marion Murvine, Matthew Olson, Jonathan (Shelley) Olson, Theodore (Jennifer) Olson, Thomas (Susan) Olson, Charles (Amy) Olson, and Holly Stevens; fourteen great-nephews and great-nieces; ten great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces; one step-son, William Wruck; and step-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Harley was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers-in-law, Elaine and Glenn Olson, and Byron Bacon.
A Funeral Service for Harley will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester, Larsen, Wisconsin, with Pastor Dan Luett officiating. Burial will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

My sympathy to the family. My beloved husband, Keith has been gone for 10 years and I'm sure he would've wanted me to remember him to the family.
