Bernice M. Felper, age 82, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, died peacefully Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the Columbus Community Hospital with her daughters at her side. She was born on August 19, 1933, in Waukau, Wisconsin to the late Martin and Bertha (Gehrke) Carpenter.
Bernice is survived by her two daughters, Terry Zehner (Terry Anderson) and Brenda (Dave) Anderson; her grandchildren, Steve (Alicia) Mayr, Brandon (Brooke) Mayr, Trent (Angie) Mayr, and Dylan (Jen) Anderson; eleven great-grandchildren; and her close and dear friend, Adrian Richter. She is further survived by her two sisters, Joyce (David) Beulen and Donna (Bob) Kalbus; her brother, Russell (Shirley) Carpenter; the father of her children, Ronald (Kim) Zehner; and many other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, Bernice was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Zehner; and her husband, Norb Felper.
Bernice spent her life caring for all those dear to her and would unselfishly put the needs of others ahead of her own. We will miss her love, sense of humor, wisdom, and kindness that she was able to share even during her own struggles in life.
