Lois A. (Luck) Magnuson, age 79, of Winneconne, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2016, at home with her granddaughter Brittany, daughter Lynnette, and son-in-law Jim at her side. She was born January 21, 1937, in Oshkosh to the late Alphon and Agnes (Hable) Luck.
She was married to Phillip Magnuson and they resided in Winneconne until his death in September 2000. Together they had one daughter, Lynnette.
Lois was employed by Falk Buses for 16 years driving school bus for the Winneconne Community School District.
She enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her grade and high school classmates, going on casino trips with her friends, going to her favorite hangouts for football, baseball, and NASCAR events, and knitting kitchen hand towels to give as gifts for the holidays.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lynnette and James Taugher; granddaughter, Brittany Selle; former son-in-law, David Selle; and a brother, Marvin Luck.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Phillip.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A prayer service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Sharon Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Catholic Cemetery, Oshkosh.
Lois' family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Affinity Hospice, specifically Crystal, Lisa, and Kelli, for their kindness and compassion over the past few weeks. The family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to their special neighbor and friend, Jackie Ige, for her frequent morning visits that were so helpful to them.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Lois. She was a friend of mine and also one that I saw at out luncheons when she was up to it. We all will surely miss her. She was a good person
