Please accept my sincere sympathy. The Bible says that a person who lives for 80 years is especially strong. (Psalm 90:10) What a privilege that your mother lived for 91 years. Take comfort in God's promise concerning the hope of seeing her again and living in a world without tears where heartache and death will be no more.

I was the minister of the Elo Methodist Church from 1960 to 1965. Sylvia was very active, serving as our Church School Superintendent. We celebrated our 100th anniversary and Sylvia was a key leader for the event. What a wonderful woman! ErwinTeichmiller, 1273 E Harbor Dr, Arbor Vitae, WI 54568

My mother, Mary Brandt, was Sylvia's colleague, carpool mate, and good friend. When Mama moved to Chicago, we enjoyed visiting Sylvia and seeing what was blooming in her gardens when we came back to visit friends in the Ripon area. Sylvia was always interested in what I was teaching my students and shared things with me for my class. My mother will write a note to Leda and the family. Sylvia will be very much missed.
