Where Caring Is A Family Tradition

She married Norman Tritt on September 24, 1941, at the First Presbyterian Church in Omro.
Some of her favorite things to do included sewing, needle work, cooking, entertaining, spending time with her grandchildren, and going to the cottage in Adams County. Holidays were spent at Edith’s. With that talent, she sewed her daughter’s wedding dress.
There were many card games with friends and family. There were also Scrabble games with Pastor Collin and Barbara Hughes, whom she adored. She really loved her many nieces and nephews. When her favorite cat, Tiggy became ill and died she told everyone that he went to “kitty heaven.” Then she became friends with Meeka the cat belonging to her friend Inez. Meeka came to stay with her when Inez traveled.
She had a very full life with many activities and friends. Lastly, she came to live with her daughter and son in law until her passing. Edith will be remembered as a person who could do anything and do it well.

We attended Edith’s 100th birthday party. We remember her as having “a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious” - 1 Peter 3:4. Her sweet smile will be deeply missed.
